Summer Workshops 2017

Is your teen prepared to succeed in high school and in college?


Do you sometimes worry that poor organization & time management, ineffective study methods, or a negative mindset about school could be getting in the way of your teen’s success?

This summer, SEC will offer “Summer Success” workshops for students in 8th - 12th grades. The workshops will focus on skills needed for high school and college. The number of participants will be limited and the cost for each workshop is $65.

High School Success (8th-12th Grades)

This workshop will focus on academic skills, designing outcomes, time management, and creating systems to be successful in high school.

Thurs, June 22nd 6:30-8:00pm or Sat, June 24th 9:30-11:00am


College Readiness (HS Seniors & College Freshmen)

Students will learn skills needed for college, including time management, self-advocacy, study skills, and handling stress.

Thurs, July 13th 6:30-8:00pm or Thurs, July 20th 6:30-8:00pm


Study Skills Bootcamp (8th-12th Grades)

An in-depth look at the tools for academic success: learning styles, study techniques, goals and grades.

Thurs, July 27th 6:30-8:00pm or Sat, July 29th 9:30-11:00am
