More Than Homework Help
SEC tutoring is designed around the student, not simply the subject.
Each student is matched with a tutor suited to the subject and academic level. Sessions are tied to the student's goals, coursework or upcoming test date. Practice between sessions is assigned when it will help, and progress is reviewed every six sessions.
Our goal is not simply to get a student through the next assignment. It is to provide consistent, expert support that builds understanding, confidence and stronger academic habits.

Meet Where It Works Best
In Person
One-to-one sessions at a Savannah-area location arranged with your tutor.
Online
Live one-to-one sessions from anywhere, with a shared digital whiteboard and session materials sent afterward.
Each family enrolls as either an in-person or an online client, and that choice sets the rate. In-person clients can move a session online for weather, illness or travel; that session is billed at the in-person rate.
Enrollment & Payment
We'll confirm your service level, rate and payment amounts before tutoring begins.
Which SEC Program Is Right for Your Student?
Subject Area Tutoring
Tutoring is usually the right fit when a student is broadly on track and needs help with:
- Current coursework
- A specific subject
- A test date
- Study habits
Academic Performance Lab
A student who is a full year or more behind in reading or mathematics, or who has a diagnosed learning difference affecting those areas, may be better served by SEC's Academic Performance Lab. The Lab is a separate program built around baseline measurement, written skill goals and progress data.
Learn about the Academic Performance LabWe will tell you plainly which program fits. We will not enroll a student in the more expensive program when tutoring is what they need.
Keep the Momentum Going
Tutoring is designed around consistent weekly support. The same tutor. The same time. Every week.
When illness, severe weather, travel, or other circumstances interfere, SEC can move an in-person session online when appropriate rather than unnecessarily losing the week.
The same tutor.
The same time.
Every week.
