Celeste Martin Nathan
Executive Function & Life Coach
Executive Function and Life Coach
Celeste coaches students on executive function and on the belief that they can actually do the thing.
Celeste holds a master's degree in the art of teaching with dual certification in general and special education, plus endorsements in ESL and reading. Across her career she has been an academic director, a social-emotional learning specialist, a reading specialist, a mentor coordinator and a classroom teacher — a range that shows up in how flexibly she works with a student who does not fit one category.
She is a published author and a motivational speaker, and is active with the Georgia Council of Teachers of English. Her coaching pairs the practical machinery of executive function — planning, starting, finishing — with the harder part, which is a student's belief about whether effort will change anything. She works on both.
