Kimbyr Cogliano
BCBA, LBA
ABA Specialist — BCBA, LBA
Kimbyr helps autistic and ADHD students build social and behavioral skills, with the perspective of someone who is autistic and has ADHD herself.
Kimbyr is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst with more than twenty years supporting students with developmental, behavioral and intellectual disabilities, autism and ADHD. She holds a master's degree in applied behavior analysis and autism spectrum disorders and a bachelor's in behavioral science from Russell Sage College, and she is a certified PEERS provider through UCLA's training program.
She is also autistic and has ADHD, both diagnosed in adulthood, and that shapes how she works. She is less interested in helping students appear typical than in helping them build skills they actually want — friendships that last, a way to manage a loud cafeteria, language for asking a teacher for what they need.
