Mary Delle Robinson
IECA Associate Member, NACAC, SACAC
College Counselor
Mary Delle has guided high school students and their families through college admissions for more than twelve years. At Hilton Head Christian Academy she built the school's comprehensive college advising program, with students placing at selective universities and at the United States Service Academies — a process with its own timeline and requirements that most counselors never touch.
She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina, is actively advancing her professional credentials through the Independent Educational Consultants Association, and belongs to SACAC and NACAC. The journalism training shows in her essay work: she is an expert at getting a seventeen-year-old to find their true voice rather than the impressive one, which is usually the essay that works.
