    Biography

Paige spent nineteen years as a transition specialist for Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools, and eleven years before that teaching special education. That is thirty years spent on the question most families postpone: what happens after high school ends.

She holds a bachelor's degree in special education from the University of Georgia, a master's in special education from the University of Michigan–Dearborn, and an educational specialist degree in brain-based teaching from Nova Southeastern University. She is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children and the Division on Career Development and Transition, and has presented at national conferences. Her work stays practical — work-based learning placements, job coaching, the specific skills an employer expects on a Tuesday morning.
